What to Expect

This session immerses you in the world of advocacy through digital storytelling. Learn how to craft compelling social media content—from attention-grabbing visuals to strategic messaging—that mobilizes audiences and drives action. Whether you're joining live or online, you’ll walk away with tools and confidence to make your advocacy buzzworthy.

Two Ways to Join

Option A: Live + Zoom (Synchronously)

  • Join us in person or via Zoom for interactive, real-time learning.

  • Collaborate in breakout groups to design mock social posts or campaign strategies.

  • Receive facilitator feedback on message tone, design, and audience engagement.

  • Access content calendars, caption templates, and design guides during the session.

  • Learn techniques for tracking digital impact using basic analytics tools.

Option B: Asynchronous Online Engagement

  • View the session recording and download all planning resources at your convenience.

  • Use our social media content calendar template and the “Hashtag Holidays” planner.

  • Practice with an interactive Padlet activity: create and post mock content, then give and receive peer feedback.

  • Reflect on your learning with a quick wrap-up prompt and optional journal.

    • Draft visuals or captions in small groups and receive feedback.

  4. Campaign Design Lab

    • Develop a campaign concept with a content schedule and distribution plan.

  5. Asynchronous Enrichment

    • Organize your social posts using downloadable calendars and peer feedback boards.
